Cluster Beans and Potato Curry

  • Chopped cluster beans - 2 cups
  • Potato - 2
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Ginger and garlic - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - less than 1/4 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Heat oil in a pressure cooker; saute ginger garlic and then add finely chopped onion.

Saute till golden brown and add tomatoes and green chillies.

Saute till mushy and then add cluster beans and cubed potatoes.

Saute vegetables for few minutes and then add coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt; saute and add required water. Pressure cook for 1 whistle and simmer for 5 minutes.

Set aside to cool; open the lid and cook on low heat until it becomes dry; remove from heat.
