- Urad dhal - 3 tbsp
- Channa Dhal - 3 tbsp
- Dried Red chilli - 10 (adjust to taste)
- Whole White Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
Measure all the Ingredients and set aside.Roast Urad dal to golden brown.
Roast Channa dal to golden brown
Roast Red chillies and Sesame seeds.Cool the ingredients
Add Asafoetida, Salt and grind to desired consistency
Spicy and Easy idli podi can be served along with Idlies, Dosa, Appam, Upma, Uthappam and even with plain rice and ghee.
