- Broccoli - 1 cup (cut into small florets)
- Mushroom - 5 or 6
- Chopped garlic - 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce - 2 tsp
- Chicken stock powder - a pinch (optional)
- Sugar - a pinch
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Corn flour - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Get ready all the ingredients. Clean the mushroom with damp cloth.
Blanch the broccoli. (In hot boiling water add salt. Put the broccoli florets for a minute, drain and immediately put under running water)
Heat oil in a pan, saute chopped garlic for 30 seconds.
Add sliced mushroom and a pinch of salt. Saute for a minute.
Add broccoli, soya sauce, chicken stock powder and stir well for a minute. (Since the soya sauce and chicken stock powder contains salt, no need to add salt separately)
Add corn flour mixed with 1/4 cup of water and stir well till dry.
This cooking should be done quickly on high flame. Broccoli is a negative calorie vegetable. So this is useful for those who wants to reduce weight.
