friends i too want a realy useful exercise on this help pls..

Start with a healthy lifestyle. We need to exercise and eat right.
Going on crash diet wont make you look fit rather you will look sick like a noonjaan kozhi.
If you want the glow from the healthy body then you have to sweat.

It is important to asses how fit you are to start on a exercise regime.

If your term for exercise is moving to another desk to ask a doubt in office.. seriously think about it.. do not jump in and start marathon training.. although some over enthused persons like me had done that

Start slow.. start with walking every day.. if your time does not permit then start with a 10 minute walk for 3 times a day... Does that sound good...
Once you can walk for a 1/2 mile without any problem.. go on..

Do not over do in the first few weeks.

A sample i followed last year..

1) Tread mill - 3 mph speed and 5 to 7 incline ==>> 20 minutes
2) Eliptical Trainer - used both handles - Use resistance 2 for the first 2 weeks ==> 15 minutes
3) Stationary bike ( Exercise bicycle) - 15 minutes ==> 15 minutes
4) Stair claimer - or Climb the stairs ==> 10 minutes

Do basic stretching .. I can find the internet links for you to do it. It is hard to explain...

I also tried the rowing maching... felt the tummy got tighter .. Sing a song like Row Row Row your boat...
On Arch trainer i felt like i am mountain climbing...

If you have access to a fitness center then ask the people around how to use certain machines... sometimes we can burn more calories in the strength training than the cardio or the aerobic activity.

Do not hesitate to try the Group fitness classes. Although you will be the only one with uncordinated movment in the entire class. As soon as you go in. Tell them you are new to this and would like to know the low impact activity when appropriate.

Swimming is another way to lose weight and get fitter....

If you are a mom and dont find time to exercise.. Put your kid in a stroller or pram and go joginng.. it is easy to jog if you can hold on to something ... Baby will enjoy the ride too...

When possible walk or run or jog outdoors ... you will enjoy the scenery and see new people to tell hello to...
